The milestone is located just west of the lay-by, by the edge of the south side of the road. Parish of Colan (Restormel District). Carved stone post, erected by the Local Highways Board in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : NEWQUAY / 4 MILES : : ST COLUMB / 3¼ MILES : Carved benchmark on left side face. Grade II Listed.
