Originally built as a foundry in the late 18th century by William Hazledine, brother to John Hazeldine who ran a foundry in Bridgnorth which built the world's first passenger steam locomotive Image This is the only remaining building of the Shrewsbury works, and was Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101254597-116-and-117-longden-coleham-shrewsbury & https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1254597 in 1972.
