Bagnall Meadows, to the left, is a new housing estate built on the site of Bagnall's, a manufacturer of narrow gauge locomotives between 1875 and 1962. On the right behind the tall grey fence in the former Stafford steam locomotive shed awaiting demolition. After the end of the steam era the shed was used for industrial purposes and in later years by Stafford College. The site will be used for a new Institute of Technology
