The image shows a view, looking north-east and up from Centenary Square near the Hall of Memory. On the left is part of the Library of Birmingham (2019). Baskerville House (1938) was originally the Civic Centre, but is now independent offices. Behind (2023), is a rapidly rising apartment tower called The Octagon, planned to reach a height of 155 metres (509 feet).
