Located on a quiet lane that was once the main A27 southern route out of Lewes. The small hamlet consists of a farm, this big house, and a few cottages. It also used to have an inn and some tollgate cottages but these were removed when the A27 Lewes Southern By-Pass was constructed that also took the traffic away from this hamlet.
