The former Anchor Mill, Daisy Street that was built as a cotton spinning mill in 1881. The spindleage in 1915 was 58,944. The engine was a twin tandem compound with gear drive by Benjamin Goodfellow of Hyde and rated at 720 horsepower. The mill is in multiple occupancy and the chimney has been shortened. Fencing around the base of the chimney suggests structural issues.
