I don't photograph as many street scenes as I would like to because there are usually too many restrictions to overcome - parked cars, people walking into shot, cars coming along when you are standing in the middle of the road. Often you have a window of about 5 to 10 seconds to frame the shot and take the photo before quickly moving on, to avoid being questioned or challenged. Bearing in mind these limitations, I'm quite pleased with this picture, taken in a hurry this afternoon in the main street in North Berwick.
