The present (RC) parish church dates from 1866 replacing one built in 1755. It is said (but I cannot confirm) that the stone altar is the one used by Patrick. The view is from St Patrick’s statue Image with the church splendidly set among the Lecale drumlins. The nearby CoI Image is also dedicated to Patrick.
