Borth is a unique settlement, strung out in a long line, wedged between a storm beach on one side and a massive peat bog on the other. Its houses, many of which began life as fishermen's huts, have no foundations. This view of the village from the cliff to the south shows both its vulnerability and its uncommon beauty.
