The gates are dated 1937 with Worcester's coat of arms complete with the three Black Pears. The left hand pillar is inscribed "George V AD 1910-1936" and the right hand pillar "King George's Fields". It is interesting to note that there is a similar entrance located at Campsie Crescent, Omagh with plaques on either side Image
