Metal plate attached to stone post by the A3090, in parish of ROMSEY (TEST VALLEY District), Winchester Hill, Harefield; opposite service station, on the verge, on Southeast side of road. Romsey iron plate, erected by the Winchester & Romsey turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- WINTON 10 ROMSEY 1 Carved bench mark. Milestone Society National ID: HA_WIRO10.
