A £24 million bio-incubator and multi-occupancy building opened in 2012 with its first tenant, Fios Genomics, a life sciences company, occupying just under 1% of its 7900 sq.m. Currently there are reported to be over 20 commercial tenants ranging from spin-out companies to established global life science businesses, and also houses the Farr Institute, Scotland, part of a UK-wide research collaboration of major universities which aims to position the UK as a world leader in health informatics research.
