The building still bears the original raised lettering reading "Plymouth Mutual Co-Operative and Industrial Society Ltd". According to oldplymouth.uk, that was its name from 1860 to 1916 when it became just the Plymouth Co-operative Society, so that gives a latest date of 1916 for this building.
