Red sandstone building

A fine, three-storey house built with a red-coloured sandstone, on the corner of Cauldshore and Kirkwood Place. It is very difficult to tell in this district whether the source of the stone was from quarries in the 'New' (Permian) or 'Old' (Devonian) Red Sandstone. Either way, it is a fine building and clearly built to impress and dwarfs the historical cottages of the earlier streets.
