The Elizabeth of York is a Wetherspoon pub named after the woman, wife of King Henry VII, who was formerly (and mistakenly) thought to have given the land for St Mary's church, opposite the pub. Pabari is an optician, Tabule a middle-eastern restaurant (great food in my opinion) and Lab Forte is a relatively new hairdresser in the space formerly occupied by Pottery and Pieces. See Image
