Image: © Walter Baxter Taken: 11 Apr 2008

This shows the west end of the hospital on the right and the Hill House bungalow that was built in 1965 as a matron's house, on the left. The hospital (1888) was closed in October 2006, but in May 2008 will undergo reconfiguration works to form a 5 chair dental unit. The bungalow will be demolished and the 'no-entry/exit-only' opening will be blocked off. This exit is at an awkward position for a sightline towards traffic approaching from the Kelso direction.
