Situated in Rodway TA5 2LR, this TE dates from the mid-1970s having replaced the smaller TE across the road https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7599741 refers. It used to take the name Combwich, a village about two miles north of this location, and has the code WWCWIC. This TE is of a standard design common throughout the United Kingdom, they being built to take increases in telephone traffic. It now provides telephone and broadband services to approximately 1,417 residential and 81 non-residential premises in Cannington plus Combwich, Stockland Bristol and Stolford nearby. The numbering range of this TE is (01278) 65xxxx, the (01278) referring to the Bridgwater group of thirteen TEs.
