Broadcasting Place is being built for Leeds Metropolitan University, Faculty of Arts and Society. It occupies land that was previously included the BBC North studios, and Blenheim Baptist Church (which was on the corner nearest the camera). The development will include a new church for the congregation. The picture was taken from the corner of Blackman Lane.
