Fire at the Bird in Hand Hotel, Beith Rd, Johnstone. Will it be restored, or demolished? We wait and see. The Hotel was built in 1910 for George Houston the last Laird of Johnstone. The building was designed in an English Arts & Crafts style by Paisley architect T G Abercrombie.
