Some nice old buildings here on the north side of the street, on either side of Specsavers. The right hand one is No 19, the Old Herald Office and is an early 18th century shop and newspaper office. The arched entry on the right leads to the Herald Office yard. On the other side of Specsavers is No 15, an early 19th century house now offices. It has original iron railings outside.
