Built 1877 as Turkish Baths on the site of earlier baths, occupying a triangular site between Convent Walk (right - the original main frontage) and Victoria Street (left). Municipalised and extended in 1898, and further extended in the early 20th century with a new frontage on Glossop Road https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7589218 .
