A Category B listed building by the Ruthven Water, described here as: "Circa 1801-3. Gothic. Single-storey and basement droved ashlar, 2-gable front with diagonal buttresses and later log column porch, big angle turret, square at basement, broached to octagonal at ground floor with diagonal shaft chimney at top." https://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB4552
