We were just emerging from the Smithy after lunch, when a car drew up, and the driver took from the boot what I instantly recognised as a model of a broch. It had been made by the local school, and is destined to be part of the exhibits in the heritage centre above the café. It is made of three parts, and this is the base, showing the chambers off the central area which are a feature of every broch. Image]
