The stop is listed as "The Cottage" which refers to a former nearby pub Image which closed in 2012 and was converted into apartments. Many of its users however would be crossing the bridge over the M67 Image to St Anne's Church and the housing estate beyond. Alas the bridge providing access to the eastbound slipway Image at Junction 3 and the estate of houses on St Anne's Road has been closed. The project to replace the bridge will take 3 years and cost £23 million https://nationalhighways.co.uk/our-roads/north-west/m67-st-anne-s-road-bridge-replacement-project/ Pedestrian and cyclist access to St Anne's Road will only be available using the footbridge connecting Angel Street with Thornleys Road.
