Green Lane, Coventry

The district of Green Lane, part of Finham on the southern tip of Coventry, takes its name from a lane that forms the edge of the built-up area. The lane was built-up along one side between the two World Wars. Typical suburban houses of the period are screened from the road by large front gardens with hedges and by a wide strip of verge.
