Grade II Listed 18th century cottage. The old junior school was initially one room behind here. It opened in 1855 and closed in 1963 and presumably this house was used initially to accommodate the headmaster/mistress (a headmaster lived at The Thatch and Ivy Cottage in the 1930s). In 2006 it received permission to insert a new window in the north elevation.
