Looking up at this grand Fenland church - visible for miles around - from the corner of Station Road, High Street (left) and Church Lane (right). Nikolaus Pevsner noted the "very large five-light E window with Dec tracery, in some details just turning Perp - as late as c 1370". The east wall of the chancel leans outwards a little, whereas the south windows and the tall tower are perfectly perpendicular - I looked carefully at the church for some time to check that the camera had captured this feature....
