The roundabout west of Wolsingham at the crossing of the A689 and A68 has been given over to summer wild flower displays for a number of years. Following two years of mediocrity, 2023 has seen the return of a decent show, although not a patch on those of 2019 (https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6231407 ) or 2020 (https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/6561169 ). This image was taken at the eastern side of the roundabout from where the A689 heads off to Crook. The A68 heading north for Tow Law can just be seen at the right side of the image.
