Replica on Image A44, in parish of Pershore (Wychavon District), The Toll House, No. 80, Bridge Street. It would have served the Evesham (First District), Pershore Division Turnpike Trust in the 19ᵗʰ C. Turnpikes started to cease in 1845, and were mostly gone by 1872 but toll gates were still shown on 1877 maps in the Forest of Dean, its status as a Royal Forest meant the land was private, like some toll roads and bridges remain to this day.
