This is in Carlisle Park, on the south side of the river. This was the site of the medieval castle. The clock was built in 1972 and was recently restored in 2018. The clock was repaired by Smiths of Derby, the original makers. It was the gift of J F Smith of Detroit in recognition of his friend Alderman Bertram Jobson, a former mayor. It is one of only four in the country. Nice to see the floral display for King Charles III.
