Spectators had selected the best highest vantage points to watch the Elite Women race 6 times up this exceptionally steep street in Glasgow. There was a pleasant friendly atmosphere among the huge crowds watching, flying flags, clapping and cheering. The race was won by 1/ Lotte Kopecky of Belgium winning GOLD 2/ Demi Vollering of NL receiving SILVER 3/ Cecilie Ludwig DK achieving BRONZE Lizzie Deignan GB was happy to achieve 6th place.
