A level crossing taking a minor track across the Cambrian Coast railway line on the outskirts of Barmouth. People using the crossing are required to open and close the gates themselves. Coloured lights (to the left of the image) show green when it is safe to cross, and red when a train is approaching. This crossing is on route 8 of the National Cycle Network and on the route of the Wales Coast Path.
