Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of Leigh (West Dorset District), Leigh, on grass between pumping station and bridge, on North side of road. Dorset 3 and 4 (iron plated), erected by the Sherborne turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 6 SHERBORNE Grade II Listed.
