Located on the bridge over the Rea Brook, and last levelled by the OS in 1967 at 52.202m above Ordnance Datum Newlyn. It probably replaces a 1GL bolt that formerly was installed in the stone parapet of the bridge on the opposite side of the road, but which went for a burton when the parapet was removed in favour of iron railings.
