Ditchfield Place, Hough Green which runs parallel to Ditchfield Road. New houses have been built to the right where once stood an industrial estate including the Golden Wonder crisp factory. Golden Wonder closed its crisp factory in 1999 with the loss of 540 jobs. The company blamed the move on a change in consumer tastes, and said it was shifting production to plants in Scunthorpe and Corby.
