Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road (was A74), in parish of ROCKCLIFFE (CARLISLE District), newly constructed road for non-motorway traffic, back of Shell petrol station; M74 carriageway, on the verge at back of garage, on East side of road. Glasgow Road plate, erected by the Carlisle to Glasgow turnpike trust in the 19th century.
