Astill & Jordan was a small local independent bus company which ran a service from Ratby into Leicester between 1920 and 1988, when it succumbed to the deregulation of bus services. Buses were largely second-hand, but always smart. No.5 is a Leyland Atlantean with Alexander bodywork, new to Edinburgh Corporation in 1967.
