This location is now inside the market hall! The bus is Ribble 392, reflecting the reduction of diversity following the creation of the National Bus Company - two choices of colour and not too many types of bus either. It is a Leyland National integral-build bus, new earlier that year. This is one of a series of views featuring buses in the 60s, 70s, and 80s. http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=137652761
