The Category B listed http://portal.historicenvironment.scot/designation/LB22133 cottages were part of the original mill complex, but the water mill itself was demolished long ago. The former Ron Barton's Garage and Gibbon & Wilson Ltd that occupied the adjacent site have recently been demolished and there are plans to build two detached houses on the site.
