The main bar in the 1856 part of the pub, which features in CAMRA's regional inventory of heritage pub interiors. Both CAMRa and other sources claim the pub is still gas-lit, but as far as I could see all the lights now have modern electric (LED?) bulbs; the only evidence of gas is the two gas flames on the bar (now shielded for safety) which were originally cigar lighters.
