Unusual historic view of Winchcombe high street taken from the roof of the then Lloyds Bank branch in nearby Abbey Terrace. Unsurprisingly, much has changed over the course of the last 25 years including the demise of the George hotel and the branch of the Midland Bank both visible in this picture. When this shot was taken this road was also the A46 (the main Cheltenham to Stratford-on-Avon road).
