The north version of Jupiter on the Somerset Space Walk, close to Coxhill Bridge. It is the scaled down representation of the Solar System, with one Sun at Maunsel Higher Lock and a pair of each of the planets at appropriate distances from it, clinging to the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal. Sadly, the concrete's paint has worn away, leaving a drab sphere. See Image] for a location view. Incidentally, Bridgwater is a mere 12.8 km away. On this scale the town would still be just on the fringe of the Solar System; our nearest next star would be 47,000 miles away!
