Old Bank Farmhouse was probably built in the late 17th or early 18th century. Sandstone rubble plinth, Timber framed with brick nogging and weatherboards on a sandstone rubble stone plinth, under a hipped Welsh slate roof. Some original internal features remain. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1082095 Adforton is a small village in Herefordshire, near the border with Wales. It lies astride the A4110 road some 7 miles east of Knighton and about 7½ miles southwest of Ludlow. The name means 'settlement connected with Ealdfrith'. Adforton was originally an agricultural village but most working residents now commute.
