Detail of the southwest corner of Sherborne Post Office. There is an Ordnance Survey cut benchmark on the wall plinth near the corner (photograph Image). The Type-C oval pillar box in the background is painted gold to commemorate Peter Wilson, from Sherborne, winning a gold medal in the men’s double trap shooting event at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
