Currently the meeting point between the A528 and the A5124. If the controversial Shrewsbury North-West Relief Road gets the go-ahead (a bad idea) then a new roundabout would be constructed just beyond this one in the green field, with a new road then extending into the distance. With the inevitable urban creep which would come in the subsequent decades, this view would change to grey concrete, brick and roofs. Yet more evidence of the need to stop the relentless expansion of almost every settlement in this country.
