The New Grange Garage on James Street was established in 1906 as a blacksmiths and engine repair premises. Bob and Carol Handley bought the garage in 1986 and until 1997 they were still selling petrol. New Grange was the last garage in Fife still to store petrol tanks inside an actual garage. It closed in February 2008.
