This West Riding CC milestone is on the A6102 outside No. 351 Middlewood Road. In 2010 it was painted this colour. It has not had the legends highlighted and remains 'pink'. One of the 615 milestones set up in 1893/94 for the young WRCC. Gill & Frank Stead, stonemasons of Mirfield, won the contract to erect the stones within a 12 month period and they did. The metal castings on this route were made at the Brayshaw & Booth foundry in Liversedge and that is cast on the bevel.
