Looking down Cross Lane in Stocksmoor with the old guidepost next to the letterbox. The stone is inscribed on the front with a hand pointing to the right/ SHEPLEY. On the back lefthand face is what looks like a C but it is not known what that is for. The wall letterbox is GR(George V) cast by W Allen & Co. London.
