Located in Stevenage Town Centre next to Event Island (old former Bus Station) the Town Square Chambers was built in 1956 and was one of the first buildings to be built in Stevenage Town Centre in the 1950s. The Town Square Chambers is due for demolition as part of the Regeneration Project of Stevenage Town Centre by Stevenage Borough Council. The new building to replace the Town Square Chambers will be an apartment building up to 6 - 7 storeys high, as of June 2023 the Town Square Chambers will not be demolished until 2025/2026 as planned.
