There has been a place of worship here on Chinnor's High Street since 1805 and the 1885 Ordnance Survey map marks it as an "Independent Chapel". The Church has a lot of links in Google but this appears to be the very informative main site http://www.chinnor.org.uk/ It being Sunday evening around 6 a lot of members of the congregation were just arriving, while the gentleman in the yard to the right appeared to be having an unsuccessful fight with a tarpaulin.
